LX Hausys returns to Retail Design Expo with HIMACS Structura®

HIMACS, the solid surface produced by LX Hausys, will be on display on the 2017 edition of Retail Design Expo. 

HIMACS is the perfect material for the retail market, as it can be fabricated into virtually any design or shape and is extremely hard-wearing, low maintenance and affordable. Many retail environments, such as Zara in the Westfield Centre, Yo Sushi outlets and Bershka in Belgium, have discovered the benefits of HIMACS. It brings a modern acrylic stone finish that leaves nothing beyond the realms of possibility. And for those looking to make their mark on the corporate world, logos can be simply and easily applied to or cut into the material.

The recently launched HIMACS Structura® will be the exciting new kid on the block – this 3D HIMACS product is sure to wow visitors; it was launched in March and has already caused considerable interest amongst architects and specifiers alike. HIMACS Structura® comes in 10 standard finishes, but can also be created in any bespoke design required, pushing the boundaries of any surface design. Also on show will be the four new Velvet colours, which belong to the Solids range, and take inspiration from the beauty of the natural world including rich organic pigments and tactile materials such as leather and raw clay.

HIMACS is composed of minerals, acrylic and natural pigments that come together to provide a smooth, non-porous and visually seamless surface to help meet the highest standards for quality, aesthetics, fabrication, functionality and hygiene.
