HIMACS and Aska invite you to venture into a pop-up jungle in the heart of Paris

Architects, interior designers and art lovers are invited to venture into a staged world featuring an improbable mixture of two completely opposite materials: the reality of stabilised plants  and the universe of HIMACS solid surface. This installation is being created in partnership with the French painter and sculptor Richard Texier.
On 19 October 2023, starting at 9 am (by reservation), make your way to the Aska Showroom at 192 bis rue de la Roquette in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, to discover the marriage of contrasts between these two elements, materialized in the form of an exclusive sculpture produced using HIMACS and immersed in a luxuriant setting inspired by real tropical décor, arranged by the company Solutions Jardins.
Contemporary artist Richard Texier, who is a renowned French painter and sculptor as well as a partner in the project, will be presenting his latest creations which will be displayed on stands made of HIMACS. 
The imposing HIMACS piece, measuring 1.8 x 1.8 metres and weighing 500 kilograms, produced by the firm ADJ, is a true feat of technical prowess, the result of meticulous origami work and an unusual artistic approach. 
With symbolism based on the elephant – sturdy, reliable and durable just like HIMACS – this installation, this work of art, is a life-size physical experience worth appreciating at the Aska Showroom.
